Conical Area and volume Calculates the surface area of a cone or frustum of a cone and the volume of same. Output is in sq .in. and sq .ft. for the surface area and cu .in. and cu .ft. for the volume. Handy for figuring the weights of vessel bottom plates and volume of vessels in cu .ft. The gallons can be easily calculated by the user from this. Comprehensive PDF readme file is included. Also included is a text file of the program code.

Feet.Inches Area Provides conversions/calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide) with decimals of a foot to feet, inches, sixteenths and visa versa. Also includes an "area" program to calculate the "area of squares/rectangles" in Ft.In format input or in Dc.Ft format input. It will calculate the area of ONE square/rectangle OR run an accumulative total of areas of squares/rectangles (add or subtract feature included here). Includes comprehensive PDF-based documentation and readme text files.

Feet/Inches metric Conversions Simple program that provides conversions with numbers in Decimal Feet <> Feet, Inches, Sixteenths <> Millimeters format. Readme file explains the functions of each button and the formats in the readouts of "Ft.In16", "Dc.Ft" and "mm". Program Code included in text file for the users review.
My other feet-inches programs do a lot of functions, but for the user that just wants to convert from Feet & Inches <> Decimal Feet <> Millimeters, this is it. A simplified program that just converts, nothing else. |

MathU Plus This is a rather simple program that uses the show line on virtually EVERY function in the MathU Pro standard program that does not already have an output on the show line. I also included the P<>S one that uses the User flag so that the user knows by the show line what the setting is for the P<>S function. |

Rational approximation This program is largely for entertainment. Using a technique of approximation by truncated continued fractions, it finds rational approximations for numbers presented in decimal form. For example, it will find the following approximations for Pi: 3/1, 22/7, 333/105, and the well-known 533/113, which is accurate to two parts in ten million. |

Solver SOLVER is a simple root finder program for the MathU Pro 2.1. It uses the regula falsi method, also called the secant method, to find the roots of the function. It has some improvements beyond the basic routine to speed-up the convergence of the algorithm. However it can be fooled by certain functions whose slope near to a root is so flat that the method never converges. Even though the algorithm is not full proof, it could find positive roots accurate enough for many applications. |
